M. Kathirvelu – From Language Mentor to Early Educator I am M. Kathirvelu, a retired employee of IIT Madras and the voice behind the Effective English podcast. Teaching—especially English grammar—has always been my passion. This love for language led me to create the Grammatical Sentence Formation Course in English, which I delivered through 1004 uninterrupted episodes on YouTube. I launched this course three years ago with a clear mission: to support individuals in rural and remote areas—students, unemployed graduates, working professionals, and semi-educated homemakers—by improving their English communication skills and boosting their confidence. This initiative was my humble contribution to society, offered completely free of cost. The podcast began on Hubhopper and expanded to platforms like Spotify, Google Podcasts, Amazon Music, Facebook, and Twitter, reaching thousands of listeners across India. Now in retirement, I wish to carry this passion forward by establishing a preschool. I believe that nurturing young minds during their formative years lays the groundwork for lifelong learning. Through early exposure to language, love, and structured learning, I hope to help children begin their educational journey with confidence, curiosity, and joy. With the same dedication that fueled my podcasting journey, I now look forward to shaping the future—one child at a time.
