  1. Jaipur
  2. Jaipur is one of the kid friendly travel destinations that is full of history and culture and offers many more exciting experiences. The ancient architecture will ignite their imagination and develop a love for history. There is an option of riding on camels or elephants and even playing and interacting with the animals. Chokhi Dhani gives an experience of a village fair. Older children find Jantar Mantar fascinating as they explore astronomical instruments. The Jaipur Zoo is very popular among all children.

    Other exciting things to do in Jaipur are trekking to Amer Fort, exploring Jal Mahal, Hawa Mahal, ancient temples and the bustling markets.

  4. Located in the Western Ghats, this hill station is ideal for a holiday with children. It’s filled with natural beauty and children can walk through tea plantations and get familiar with the tea extraction process. The pleasant climate and fresh air are some of the highlights. There are soft trekking opportunities on the hills for children as well as visits to wildlife sanctuaries around Munnar. There is also a tea museum which kids love and they can learn about how tea is brewed.

Whether it’s building castles or tunnels in the sand or paddling in the water, they will thoroughly enjoy the place. Apart from the beach, there are numerous sightseeing opportunities such as forts, churches, interesting museums, waterfalls, spice plantations and wildlife sanctuaries.

  8. Located in the lap of nature in the North East Himalayas, Sikkim is one of the kid friendly holiday destinations. Apart from the Himalayas and myriad ancient monasteries, it’s also the point of India’s border with China. Parents can take their kids to visit NathuLa Pass, Tsomgo Lake and interior towns like Lachun and Pelling.  It’s safe and the locals are very helpful making it suitable for a kid-friendly vacation. Children can visit the Himalayan Zoo in Gangtok, go on a yak safari and ride the Gangtok ropeway.

  2. The Jumeirah Beach Hotel offers non-stop fun to kids as the hotel grounds house the Wild Wadi Waterpark and they have access to all the fun rides and slides.  Kids can watch movies under the stars and older children have all the sports facilities they want. There’s a lot of open space both indoors and outdoors as well as play areas. Special activities for kids include aqua fun, face painting and crafting.

    The hotel offers babysitting services with staff trained to international childcare standards so that parents can get some time to themselves.

  3. Disneyland Paris, France
  4. Disneyland Paris in Marne-la-Valléeis the ultimate destination with kids for a mini-break for a young family.  This theme park has gentle rides for kids and they can meet their favourite Disney cartoon characters. For those who want to escape the crowds, it’s best to visit mid-week during mid-January to mid-March or mid-April to mid-May. For more scheduled shows and events and extended timings, you can plan to stay during weekends in the summer months but we prepared for longer waiting lines. You can stay at a Disney hotel and get early access to the parks.

  5. Club Med in the Algarve, Portugal
  6. This newly-renovated resort stands on the cliffs of the Algarve and is a godsend for families with young kids. It caters to everything that young families require while ensuring the parents have a good break as well. The childcare is excellent and caters to babies from 4 months of age up to teenagers. There’s a club for every age group and myriad activities children can enjoy. The staff looking after the kids, known as GOs,  are amazing and kids want to spend all their time there.

    While children are occupied with various activities, parents can either laze or take a dip in the zen pool or unwind at the luxurious Cinq Mondes spa. The food is delectable and there are bottle stations and freshly-made purees for kids in each block.

  7. Avani+ Fares Maldives Resort
  8. This brand-new resort in Maldives is perfect for a family getaway. This resort has overwater villas that have 3 bedrooms and cater to the whole family. Children love the glass bottom bath where they can spot marine life, maybe even a shark,  at bath time.

    The resort also has  a kids-only pool, with swings and slides where they can spend many happy hours. There’s also an Avani Kids Club to keep them entertained with brilliant staff to cater to their every whim. A nap room is there too, for when they get tired of all the fun and frolic.

    The main restaurant has a buffet for a relaxed meal with the family and the staff interact with the kids and take them around the buffet.

  9. Center Parcs, UK
  10. There are 5 Center Parcs in the UK and all are ideal for holidaying with kids.  There’s a lot to explore and several activities including swimming pools with separate sections for kids.  There’s a crèche where kids up to the age of 35 months can be left for 3 hours at a stretch. The accommodation is fitted with stair gates, high chairs and a cot for kids.

    Toddlers have an option of mini football,  pottery painting and other interesting activities. inbetween. Many restaurants have baby stations with free baby food and bottle warmers as well as soft play zones while you’re waiting for your food.

    The Subtropical Swimming Paradise has baby zones and baby trailers can be hired to attach them to the back of bikes. The woods have play parks with a real life teddy bear’s picnic.
