  3. Tigers have sharp teeth and claws:

  6. Tigers inhabit forest, grasslands and even the arctic regions of India , Russia, Indonesia and among others.

  7. Tigers are endangered:
  8. This implies that there are now very few tigers in the natural habitat. We have also observed that individuals are trying in their own way to protect these tigers and their habitats so that these animals can have fun for quite a number of years.

  9. Tigers are solitary animals:

Types of Tigers:

There are different kinds of tigers, each with its own special features. Let’s learn about some of them:

  1. Bengal Tiger:
  2. This is the most frequently seen/tiger type. They stay in India and they have the orange black lines that we associate with tigers.

  3. Siberian Tiger:
  4. Siberian or also known as the Amur tigers are deemed to be the largest among the species of tigers. These are Russia inhabitants that live in extremely cold regions and so they have thicker fur to keep them warm.

  5. Sumatran Tiger:
  6. This is the smallest tiger and does not hunt for food. They are Sumbanese people who dwell on an island called Sumatra in Indonesia, and this species has even darker orange fur than the foregoing animals and thinner stripes at that.

  7. White Tiger:
  8. These tigers are so scarce and splendid. They are not a different species but are in fact variants of Bengal tigers with different skin colour. They are fully grown white furred animals of the cat species having black stripes with blue eyes.

  9. Malayan Tiger:
  10. Malayan tigers are also found in Malaysia but they are also slightly smaller than Bengal tigers. They are slightly bigger and they yielded to having rich orange colours of their hair to help them adapt to survive in the forest.

  11. Indochinese Tiger:
  12. Free ranging tigers found in the countries of Southeast Asia and predominantly in Thailand and Vietnam are in fact similar to the Bengal tiger but are slightly smaller in size.

Unfortunately, there are some kinds of tigers that in the past were known to exist but are currently gone. This means that their stocks in this world are genuinely nil and hardly will you come across someone of your choice. Such are the Bali tiger, Javan tiger, and Caspian tiger.
